Mikhail Voskresensky is a distinguished professor, chair of the piano faculty at the Moscow Conservatory, Artist-in-Residence at The Juilliard School, and guest professor at the Toho Gakuen School in Tokyo, Japan. His students have won 126 international prizes, including 55 gold medals.

Mikhail Voskresensky commands an international reputation as a pianist in the great Romantic tradition. He has performed with more than 150 conductors throughout most of Europe, Japan, Korea, China, Australia, USA, Mexico, Cuba, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Peru. Voskresensky’s extensive repertoire includes all the Beethoven sonatas, all the works of Chopin, as well as 64 piano concertos with orchestra which he has performed with John Pritchard, Franz Konwitschny, Kurt Mazur, Stanislav Scrowachewsky, Eugeny Svetlanov, Charles Dutoit, and others. Voskresensky is the only pianist in Russia who has performed all of Chopins piano compositions during one concert season, 1982-1983. In 2011, he received an award for performing and recording all 27 of Mozarts piano concertos.

Mikhail Voskresensky has recorded more than 60 CDs. His recordings of all the Mozart piano sonatas (5 CDs) were released this year.A student of the legendary pianist Lev Oborin and prizewinner of four international piano competitions, Mikhail Voskresensky is the President of the Scriabin International Society and the Chopin Society in Moscow. He was honored with the Merited Artist of Russia and the Peoples Artist of Russia awards.

Mikhail Voskresensky has been a jury member of many international competitions, including the XIII and XIV Tchaikovsky Competition, as well as international competitions in Sydney, London, Leeds, Geneva, Hamamatsu, Tel Aviv, Los Angeles and others. Mr. Voskresensky is the chairman of the Scriabin International Competition in Moscow.The recent 2014 season included Mr. Voskresenskys concert tours in Denmark, Germany, Japan, China, New Zealand, and Russia.
