| March 15, 2012: | Application deadline, nonrefundable application/ competition fee due. After March 15, 2012, a late application fee of $185 applies. |
| March 31, 2012: | Notification of acceptance. Notification of competition first round results. |
| April 15, 2012: | Tuition due. Submission of your performance repertoire due. |
| May 15, 2012: | Notification of solo, chamber music and collaborative assignments. Second round competition repertoire due (only for participants selected for second round) |
| June 20, 2012: | Submission of arrival and departure information (airport, date, time, flight no.) due. |
| July 05, 2012: | Arrival day |
| July 25, 2012: | Departure day |
